Cobalt Sexual Health Awareness Week 

Monday 15th April - Friday 19th April

In conjunction with the NHS, the week will consist of talks and testing events to help raise awareness and to reduce the stigma of talking about sexual health. 

The talks will consist of: 

One-to-One Centre – Your local sexual health service (what we do/offer, what’s available in the community & online)

STIs – What are they? How to test? (symptoms, testing inc home testing kits available online) and also PrEP/PEP

Contraception – What’s available? (inc  emergency contraception, how to access, vasectomy info)

C-Card (free condom scheme for those up to age 24 – available to workers or maybe parents who have children in this age range)

Opportunity to ask questions. 

Talks available:

Monday 15th, 12pm - All Cobalt Staff (Virtual) Register here 
Tuesday 16th, 11am- EE Staff 
Tuesday 16th, 1pm- Accenture Staff
Wednesday 17th, 12pm- Newcastle Building Society Staff 

Testing Event 

Friday 19th April, 11am-3pm. 

Pop along to Cobalt Central where you can get tested for FREE. 

- Finger prick blood test testing for HIV, Syphilis, Hep B&C

- Urine test- Chlamydia & gonorrhoea

Please note results are NOT instant so nobody will receive a diagnosis there and then. Results will be sent via text message within 2 weeks. For those who do not wish to test on the day, they scan a QR code and order a home testing kit. 

Everyone who gets involved in the testing will receive a free goodie bag!
